Mark Vella and Peter McIntyre of Vitiworks not only run the day-to-day operations of Marko’s Vineyard but are at the forefront of viticulture.

To say someone is at the forefront of viticulture is an easy thing to say but to grow super premium grapes year in year out is not as easy as it sounds.

Both Peter and Mark are hands-on operators and by hands-on I mean they don’t mind getting their hands dirty. This, coupled with extensive hands-on knowledge and academic knowledge, in my opinion, is the perfect balance.
